Angela Brown Presley | President & Co-Treasurer
Angela is passionate about bringing communities together and creating memorable experiences. She's lucky enough to do this for a living as the SVP & GM of Events at The Linux Foundation, a non-profit consortium dedicated to providing a neutral, trusted hub for open technology projects, where she's been for 15 years. In this role, she also spearheads diversity & inclusion efforts.
Prior to moving to Maui in 2018 with her husband, Angela resided in California and Arizona. She has previously served on the board of the Greater Phoenix Multicultural & Arts Foundation, and was a founding member of the International Special Events Society's Arizona chapter.

Originating from Washington state, she previously managed the late Seattle philanthropist Paul Allen’s exhibition project Pivot Art + Culture and helped launch the inaugural Seattle Art Fair. Her experience includes nearly two decades of administrative work for for-profit and nonprofit arts and cultural businesses. She received her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts and has served on numerous art and community volunteer boards.

Catherine A Seemann | Marketing & Communication Director
Born and raised in Florida, Catherine, her husband, and daughter moved to Maui in November 2019 to be closer to family on the island.
A lifelong creative with a bachelor's in journalism from the University of Florida, she worked in the publishing industry for almost a decade before pursuing an associate's in graphic design from Santa Fe College while founding a roller derby team at the same time - really! After graduating from Santa Fe, Catherine worked in marketing and communications for the health center and student government at the University of Florida for another almost-decade before the big move here.
Currently the office manager (aka jill-of-all-trades) at Maui Hands Art Galleries, Catherine's passion is helping artists of all kinds get the recognition and compensation they deserve so they can live doing what they love.

Yann Lussiez, Ed.D. | Youth Engagement Director
Yann Lussiez is currently the Lower Division Head at Kamehameha Schools Maui. He has his BA in Media Communications (Photography) and French Literature from Webster University, and his MA and Ed.D. from the University of New Mexico.
Originally from Lille, France, he was raised in Colorado, lived in the Central African Republic, Venezuela, Turkey, but has spent most his time in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
He has been an art teacher and volunteered on several non-profit boards both for the arts and international relations. He is an avid photographer, painter, and writer. He is married and has two daughters.

Carl Yoshihara | Design & Website Director
Carl is 5th generation from Maui and is a military brat. That life took him all over the mainland and overseas, before settling down Upcountry on Maui. He has been an artist all his life and has artworks in collections nationally and internationally.
Before moving to Maui, he lived in Cupertino, the heart of Silicon Valley, California. He worked as an art director, graphic designer and illustrator for himself and many notable companies.
Currently, I’m enjoying photography, surfing, painting, life and trying to remodel my house. But you know how that is. :)
